I am a creative technologist, visual artist, interactive designer and multimedia producer.  I help people build innovative solutions to better their business.

My background is integrated in the arts and sciences.  I have a Chemical Engineering degree from Columbia University and studied Graphic Design at School of Visual Arts in NYC.

My first computer was an Apple Macintosh in 1984. Shortly thereafter, I switched to the world of Microsoft PCs when I was hired as the Creative Director for Digital Learning Systems & Creative Media Group. We were one of the first companies to recognize the potential for using personal computers as an advertising and marketing medium as well as for education and the distribution of books.  Although limited at first to 5.25″ and 3.5″ diskettes, we created and produced award winning interactive media programs for educational, advertising, marketing and promotion purposes.  These animated, interactive training programs and graphical user interfaces were developed to teach people how to use their new personal computer and software programs bundled with it.  IBM, Dell, Compaq and other manufacturers of IBM PC “clones” thought so highly of these tutorials that many of their computers through the 1980’s were shipped with software that we created using proprietary tools and technology.  When Microsoft Office for Windows was first released in 1990, I led the team of artists and programmers that created the original tutorials bundled with the software.

Over the past 25 years I have helped many clients to build engaging websites and applications.  The myriad projects have involved interactive media design, web development and production, marketing and promotion campaigns, database applications and ecommerce systems.  These clients are museums, schools and businesses (both corporations and non-profit organizations).
